Challenge

No Brainer is a Warrington-based PR, social and content agency, with a strong focus on delivering bespoke, integrated campaigns for clients to help them buildbrand awareness.

We’ve worked with Warrington-based PR, content and social media agency, No Brainer since 2018 and from day one, Managing Director, Gary and Client Director, Lee, sought an IT solution that would give their team the flexibility to work from any location.

Solution

The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent UK-wide lockdown meant that IT infrastructure was suddenly at the forefront of everyone’s minds; it became vital for businesses to ensure they could operate as normal, despite staff working from home.

Thanks to the systems we already had in place for the team, the transition to home working was seamless for No Brainer.  Using their Macbooks to access shared data already stored in the cloud-based Sharepoint environment, was as easy for the No Brainer team to work from home as it had been in the office.

As with many businesses during this period, being able to communicate with one another and clients without interruption was essential for the team. As users of the Microsoft 365 suite of tools, they were able to utilise Microsoft Teams for video conferencing, instant messaging and plenty more besides, which made facilitating remote communications considerably easier.

IT issues can’t always be avoided, however, and with the No Brainer team all working fully remotely, it was vital they each had the right support available if any problems did occur.  As subscribers of our help desk service, the team’s queries were dealt with as quickly and efficiently as they would be in an office environment. Using remote control technology to quickly gain access to the teams’ devices to identify the problem meant that disruption due to IT issues was limited.
