Investing in Pitalia’s IT infrastructure

Highstream has worked with Pitalia since September 2019 and partnered with the firm in anticipation of a period of significant growth. Pitalia needed an IT team who could support them with their new office refurbishment by implementing a scalable and secure infrastructure model that could evolve in line with the business.

Pitalia is a fresh, dynamic, Bolton-based investment company. The team is focused on creating value through investing in businesses and property. Since starting work with Highstream, the company has undertaken a significant period of growth and needed an IT infrastructure solution that would continue to grow with the team.

Within their plans to refurbish and move into a new office space in Bolton, Highstream produced infrastructure and cabling design that was geared towards the flexibility and security that a rapidly expanding business requires.

Most importantly for Pitalia, was that they needed an IT solutions provider who could help the team mobilise quickly and efficiently in the setting up of their new office operation.

Highstream has a well-established relationship with Pitalia’s Managing Director, Anil Pitalia, which meant that there was a strong platform from which to build when it came to understanding the company’s priorities.

As part of their plans for expansion, Pitalia had taken on a new office space in Bolton which required a complete refurbishment to make it fit for purpose; giving the Highstream team a clean slate to work from.

The first step was visiting the office space prior to refurbishment in order to make a strategic decision regarding the most effective data cabling and wireless connectivity solution. As part of this, it was important for our team to take the time to get to know the client’s requirements, with a particular focus on their bold plans for further growth and expansion.

From there, we were able to put forward a structured data cabling installation and wireless suggestion that would be scalable for a larger team, but still be fit for purpose in the interim. During the installation of the new cabling infrastructure, Highstream was also able to advise on and provide the desktop IT services needed by the team, including both laptops and mobile devices.

Highstream’s delivery also included core network infrastructure, switching, routing and firewall, in conjunction with Microsoft 365 modern workplace services. This was instrumental in facilitating the ease of expansion and remote working, suiting the dynamic nature of Pitalia’s business.

Now that the team is fully set up in their new office space, Highstream continues to support them through their dedicated end-user support service, providing daily support for the team when it comes to IT issues and queries. We also provide support through regular service reviews and technology will continue to be reviewed and updated in line with future business and growth plans.
