Highstream Solutions have worked closely with LCA Group to understand their technology requirements and ensure the relocation of both their manufacturing and project operations offices to a fantastic new facility in Hawarden has been as seamless as possible. We’ve designed and implemented a new technology platform as a foundation to their continuing manufacturing and site-based operations, whilst also providing foresight and scalability to accommodate the future growth plans of the business. We’ve planned and installed structured cabling, provisioned a Cisco enterprise core network with managed wireless coverage throughout and Cisco perimeter security protection.
We’ve re-engineered LCA’s client operating environment with a ‘Cloud-first’ ethos. The Microsoft 365 Business platform combines Email, productivity and collaboration functionality with business-grade management and security tools. This has enabled the business to adopt further secure and scalable use of Cloud services. LCA users can access, manipulate and react to the data they need from wherever they need to work.
Much of the legacy client hardware has been replaced with Dell micro-chassis PCs, integrating LCA’s requirement for good value and reliability with capability to perform high-end CAD tasks where required. We’re pleased with LCA’s positive response to our services and we continue to provide on-going technology support to all LCA users on a day-to-day basis through our Service Desk.
